CO-1 10th Anniversary Poster

The project is designing a 10 year anniversary poster for an art school. We play around with the Chinese character ‘Ten years’, using traditional Chinese word ‘拾’ to replace the modern word ‘十’. For the word years ‘年’, we replace it by the word with same pronunciation ‘連’, which add a meaning of ‘continuous’. This represents the 10 years successive support from the art school to student’s development. 

We use wooden frame as the main constructing material for the poster, frame is the foundation of a painting, which exactly sync with the art school’s supportive role to the students. The school is always the strongest back up to students, educate them with profound knowledge and pave their way to success. 

The support from school is nonstop in the past 10 years, the school and teachers devoted themselves to be the frame for students’ development. This is the selfless contribution which allows the future of art blossoms.
